Through shared leadership, classes, performances, residencies, film screenings, a dance festival, and other community events, each year MashUp’s core programs provide paid artistic work for 30-40 women artists, amplify work from 20-30 diverse women choreographers by presenting it to a broad LA audience, offer resources and opportunities to over 100 early and mid-career dance professionals, and facilitate dialogue on key societal issues, especially pertaining to gender.
