National Women’s Equality Day

August, Annually

Each August, MashUp joins forces with female-identifying creative teams, ideological partners, and/or social justice organizations to commemorate National Women’s Equality Day via a public performance and open panel discussion(s). This program provides an opportunity for cross-disciplinary women artists and activists to collaborate, and challenges audiences to examine a current, culturally critical intersectional feminist topic. Select past partners include — the architectural firm Curious Minds LA, Highways Performance Space, and the City of Culver City.
