Acknowledgement
MashUp’s primary residence is located on the traditional territory of the Tongva people. Present day Los Angeles is home to the largest indigenous population of any city in the US - including the Gabrielino Tongva people, Pacific Islander and Latin American Indigenous Diasporas, and others who have been displaced throughout our history. We recognize, express gratitude, and pay respect to the indigenous people of this land, past, present, and emerging. By recognizing Indigenous stewardship of the land, air, water we call home, we can all start to combat the invisibility and erasure of Native Peoples.
