International Dance Film Festival

Hosted by guest emcee Linda Recessionista, this special evening kicks off MashUp’s International Women’s Day Dance Festival with a vibrant celebration of women in dance. Join us for a curated screening of local and international dance films selected by MashUp’s Creative Council, followed by the honoring of our Exemplary Women in LA Dance, Boróka Nagy and Vanessa Hernández Cruz, whose leadership and artistry continue to shape the Los Angeles dance community.
IWDDF Kick-off Party

After the screening and awards, we’ll head to Zinqué to raise a glass together—celebrating the artists, the honorees, and the opening night of our festival.

Join us at MashUp’s home studio, The Pickle Factory in Frogtown, for our Quarterly Choreography Open Mic Night — an evening celebrating fearless creativity and community through dance!
Experience eight incredible choreographers from our local community as they share original works-in-progress — pieces that move, question, and connect. Come early, grab a refreshment, and stay to mingle with artists and fellow dance lovers in a night full of inspiration and movement.
Please note: this event is not curated by MashUp. Choreographers are selected on a first-come, first-served basis through an open sign-up process.
