Submissions for choreography for our International Women’s Day Dance Festival typically open in early fall. Submissions for our National Women’s Equality Day Residency Program typically open in mid Spring.

Choreography Open Mic Night
Working on a new piece and looking for an audience to share it with? Have a completed work you’d like to present in a supportive, low-pressure environment and receive feedback?
MashUp’s Choreography Open Mic Night provides space for choreographers to share works-in-progress or completed pieces in a casual, community-centered setting. This first-come, first-served event is held five times per year and features up to 10 choreographers, each presenting a work 8 minutes or less.
Open Mic Nights take place at MashUp’s home studio, The Pickle Factory (2828 Gilroy Street, Los Angeles).
