Victoria developed a love for choreography while studying dance in college. Music has always been a huge part of her life and she finds her inspiration through music. She has always believed that music evokes the spirit to move. As she continues to evolve in her choreographic exploration, music allows her to explore different types of movement qualities, develop mood, and overall concept. Free styling then helps her set specific movements in chronological order. "Freestyle is the organic substance of every dancer. It is when the dancer is fully exposed in that split second of not worrying about exact movement; Thus creating something raw…now that’s dance."
Victoria’s movement vocabulary is a mixture of jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop and ballet. She welcomes the challenge of transforming and involving classical technique to create a newer contemporary perception. This blend makes her dances numbers dynamic, riveting, and poignant. Victoria is committed to bringing out the internal passion and spirit of dance to the stage.
