MashUp Contemporary Dance Company
Founded in 2010 and based out of Los Angeles, MashUp Contemporary Dance is an all-female touring dance company which showcases its dancer's athleticism, stylized movement, and passion for concert dance performance. MashUp promotes multi-media collaboration and integrates dance with other forms of artistic expression such as film, painting, and live music. MashUp's movement style provides its audience access to and an understanding of contemporary dance through its unique fusion of jazz, modern, and hip-hop which values a strong foundation in ballet technique. MashUp views dance as an inherent form of human expression that reflects today's culture and social issues through movement.

Board Members
Marc Krens CPA
Mr. Krens brings a diverse background of public accounting, non-profit and international business experience to the MashUp Board of Directors. Mr. Krens experience includes providing accounting and financial services to non-profit organizations both as an external service provider and internally as a Director. Over his 25 year career, he has served on Non-Profit Board of Directors in the capacity of Vice President and Treasurer. He brings a wealth of knowledge regarding the governance of the Board of Directors and the fiscal discipline to help guide MashUp.
Hayden Panettiere
Hayden Panettiere, a very successful and talented actress, singer and producer has appeared in countless films and television shows including the leading role of "Claire" in the hit NBC drama series "Heroes". She has used her many achievements to further the well being of several communities including dolphin and wale conservation. Hayden is immensely passionate about protecting animal rights and is incredibly active with charities such as Orca Network, Save the Whales, and The Whaleman Foundation. Along with her compassion for animals, Hayden is also an advocate of the Ronald McDonald Foundation as well as a member of the celebrity board for this organization which supports families and children facing medical struggles. Haydens accomplishments in the entertainment and involvement in these charities has brought awareness to their worthy and important causes.
Kimberly Taylor
Kimberly Taylor holds B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Child/Family psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She has extensive background in administrative management having worked at the APU Theatre Arts Office and as the Administrative Secretary at First Christian Church under Mayor/Reverend Karen Davis. Her performing arts background includes study in jazz, ballet, tap, and musical theatre dance under Rikki Lugo at the Music Theatre of Southern California and gymnastics at Champion Gymnastics Academy. She appeared as the lead role of Kristie in The Cowardly Knight and as a dancer in Seussical, Me and My Girl, and the APU Drama Awards 2005 and 2006. She founded and directed In Step Dance Team in Pasadena and has worked as Choreographer and Assistant Director for Western Christian High School's Seussical and Zombie Prom. In 2007, she choreographed APU'S The Goodbye Girl and Drama Awards. She recently served on a panel of judges for Maranatha High School's advanced dance auditions and is the founder and director of the As the Deer dance ministry team in Azusa, CA. Currently she is the district manager at Academy of Music and Dance in Pasadena, CA. She is also a freelance photographer specializing in theatrical headshots and will be pursuing her M.F.A. in Digital Photography at the Academy of Art.
